These are the generations from my 10th great-grandfather down to my grandmother Marguerite Lydia Dillard (Maddess).

Jonas Fairbanks born circa March 6, 1625 in Sowerby, Halifax Parish, West Riding of Yorkshire, England and died February 10, 1676 in Lancaster, Middlesex, Massachusetts.  He married Lydia Prescott born August 15, 1641 in Watertown, Middlesex, Massachusetts and died December 21, 1723 in Lancaster, Worcester, Massachusetts.
They had Hasadiah Fairbanks born February 28, 1668.

Generation 9
Hasadiah Fairbanks born February 28, 1668 in Lancaster, Worcester, Massachusetts died 1740 in Bolton, Worcester, Massachusetts.  She married John Moore born April 7, 1662 in Lancaster, Worcester, Massachusetts and died July 27, 1740 in Bolton, Worcester, Massachusetts.
They had Martha Moore born circa 1704.

Martha Moore born circa 1704 in Lancaster, Worcester, Massachusetts and died September 22, 1766 in Dummerston, Windham, Vermont.  She married Captain John Kathan born 1707 in England and died November 23, 1787 in Vermont.
They had 1st Lieutenant Daniel Kathan born February 1, 1741.

Generation 7
1st Lieutenant Daniel Kathan born February 1, 1741 in Worcester, Worcester, Massachusetts died October 17, 1807 in Dummerston, Windham, Vermont.  He married Ruth Barrett born 1745 in Franklin, Norfolk, Massachusetts and died August 3, 1802 in Dummerston, Windham, Vermont.  He was a Patriot in the American Revolution (DAR data).
They had Charles Kathan born 1766.

Generation 6
Charles Kathan born 1766 in Dummerston, Windham, Vermont died 1818 in Greenbush, Rensselaer, New York.  He married Lydia Scott born January 8, 1772 in Westmoreland, Cheshire, New Hampshire and died 1809 in New York.
They had Charles Kathan born June 27, 1789.

Generation 5
Charles Kathan born June 27, 1789 in Dummerston, Windham, Vermont died May 29, 1859 in Stony Creek, Warren, New York.  He married Sabra McFarland born February 28, 1792 and died July 17, 1865 in Stony Creek, Warren, New York.
They had Edson Harlow Kathan born 1811.

Edson Harlow Kathan born 1811 in Dummerston, Windham, Vermont and died November 30, 1878 in Warren County, New York.  He married Harriett Gill born May 4, 1814 in Hadley, Saratoga, New York and died May 9, 1883 in Beloit, Rock, Wisconsin.
They had Stephen Kathan born 1829.

They had Elwin Dana Kathan born March 22, 1859.

Elwin Dana Kathan born March 22, 1859 in Warren, Herkimer, New York died April 24, 1940 in Nez Perce, Lewis County, Idaho.  He married Marguerite Augusta Mears born March 19, 1869 in Richmond, Elgin, Ontario and died October 3, 1896 in Rhinelander, Oneida, Wisconsin.
They had Martha Mary Kathan born December 2, 1887.
