About the Header

My blog header is a picture of Kuhio Park Terrace, where my early childhood in Kalihi, Honolulu, Hawaii began. I am the one standing next to my father and my brother, Jamison, is the one goofing off. It was and still is one of the roughest housing projects on Oahu. It is part of who I am and where I am from.

These are the generations from my 10th great-grandfather down to my grandfather Warren Jackson Dillard.

Richard Kimball born April 10, 1595 in Rattlesden, Suffolk, England died June 22, 1675 in Ipswich, Essex, Massachusetts.  He married Ursula Scott born circa February 14, 1596 in Rattlesden, Suffolk, England and died March 1, 1676 in Ipswich, Essex, Massachusetts.
They had Henry Kimball born August 12, 1615.

Generation 9
Henry Kimball born August 12, 1615 in Rattlesden, Suffolk, England and died June 4, 1676 in Wenham, Essex, England.  He married Mary Riddlesdale born 1622 in Assington, Suffolk, England died August 12, 1672 in Wenham, Essex, Massachusetts. 
They had Martha Kimball born August 18, 1664.

Generation 8
Martha Kimball born August 18, 1664 in Wenham, Essex, Massachusetts died December 27, 1728 in Newburyport, Essex, Massachusetts.  She married Daniel Chase born November 15, 1661 in Newbury, Essex, Massachusetts and died February 8, 1707 in Newbury, Essex, Massachusetts.
They had Sarah Chase born September 11, 1685.

Generation 7
Sarah Chase born September 11, 1685 in Berkley, Bristol, Massachusetts and died February 9, 1754 in Morristown, Morris, New Jersey.  She married Captain Abraham Hathaway born September 11, 1685 in Taunton, Bristol, Massachusetts died February 9, 1754 in Morristown, Morris, New Jersey.  Needs sourcing, as both husband and wife have the same exact birth and death dates.
They had Susanna Hathaway born January 16, 1712.

Generation 6
Susanna Hathaway born January 16, 1712 in Dighton, Bristol, Massachusetts and died 1782 in Berkley, Bristol, Massachusetts.  She married John Pipes born 1715 in Dighton, Bristol, Massachusetts and died November 18, 1804 in Spartanburg, North Carolina.  He was a Patriot in the American Revolution (DAR data).
They had Susannah M. Pipes born 1728.

Generation 5
Susannah M. Pipes born 1728 in Wilkes, North Carolina died 1808 in Jonesville, Yadkin, North Carolina.  She married Reuben Simon Shores born 1725 in Surry, North Carolina and died July 31, 1837 in Jonesville, Yadkin, North Carolina.
They had Simeon Shores born 1769.

Generation 4
Simeon Shores born 1769 in Surry, North Carolina and died July 31, 1837 in Wilkes, North Carolina.  He married Mary Meredith Cook born 1763 in Wilkes, North Carolina and died 1845 Wilkes, North Carolina.
They had Sarah Shores born 1794.

Generation 3
Sarah Shores born 1794 in Wilkes, North Carolina died October 14, 1838 in Henry, Indiana.  She married John Paul Dowell born circa 1787 in North Carolina and died June 3, 1860 in Henry, Indiana.
They had Mary Dowell born May 3, 1832.

Generation 2
Mary Dowell born May 3, 1832 in North Carolina and died October 22, 1868 in Warren County, Iowa.  She married George Washington Dillard born April 15, 1825 in Fayette County, Indiana and died October 26, 1906 in Springhill, Warren, Iowa.
They had Colonel Jacob Fremont Dillard born August 12, 1856.

Colonel Jacob Fremont Dillard born August 12, 1856 in Spring Hill, Warren County, Iowa and died October 13, 1895 in Spring Hill, Warren County, Iowa.  He married Elmina Jane Carey was born May 17, 1866 in Greenfield, Adair County, Iowa and died March 30, 1956 in Orofino, Clearwater County, Iowa.
They had my grandfather Warren Jackson Dillard September 2, 1890.
