10 Generations of William Scott

These are the generations from my 10th great-grandfather down to my grandmother Marguerite Lydia Dillard (Maddess).

Generation 10
William Scott born circa 1655 in possibly of Kent, England and died circa January 17, 1717 in Hatfield, Hampshire, Massachusetts.  He married Hannah Allis born January 28, 1654 in Braintree, Norfolk, Massachusetts and died 1718 in Hatfield, Hampshire, Massachusetts.  He served in King Philip's War and participated in the Battle of Turner's Falls under Capt. William Turner.
They had William Scott born circa November 24, 1676.

Generation 9
William Scott born circa November 24, 1676 in Hatfield, Hampshire, Massachusetts died November 20, 1759 in Sunderland, Franklin, Massachusetts.  He married Mary Miriam Eastman born circa 1680 in Hatfield, Hampshire, Massachusetts and died December 7, 1711 in Hatfield, Hampshire, Massachusetts.
They had John Scott born June 3, 1704.

Generation 8
John Scott born June 3, 1704 in Hatfield, Hampshire, Massachusetts died 1793 in New Hampshire.  He married Hannah Richards born April 24, 1705 in Waterbury, New Haven, Connecticut and died 1793.
They had Captain Waitstill Scott born 1742.

Generation 7
Captain Waitstill Scott born 1742 in Chesterfield, Cheshire, New Hampshire died March 6, 1824 in Chesterfield, Cheshire, New Hampshire.  He married Lydia Marsh born 1746 and died 1826 in Chesterfield, Cheshire, New Hampshire.  He was a Patriot of the American Revolution (DAR data).
They had Lydia Scott born January 8, 1772.

Generation 6
Charles Kathan born 1766 in Dummerston, Windham, Vermont died 1818 in Greenbush, Rensselaer, New York.  He married Lydia Scott born January 8, 1772 in Westmoreland, Cheshire, New Hampshire and died 1809 in New York.
They had Charles Kathan born June 27, 1789.

Generation 5
Charles Kathan born June 27, 1789 in Dummerston, Windham, Vermont died May 29, 1859 in Stony Creek, Warren, New York.  He married Sabra McFarland born February 28, 1792 and died July 17, 1865 in Stony Creek, Warren, New York.
They had Edson Harlow Kathan born 1811.

Edson Harlow Kathan born 1811 in Dummerston, Windham, Vermont and died November 30, 1878 in Warren County, New York.  He married Harriett Gill born May 4, 1814 in Hadley, Saratoga, New York and died May 9, 1883 in Beloit, Rock, Wisconsin.
They had Stephen Kathan born 1829.

Steven Kathan born 1829 in New York died 1870 in Wisconsin.  He married Martha Shanahan.
They had Elwin Dana Kathan born March 22, 1859.

Generation 2
Elwin Dana Kathan born March 22, 1859 in Warren, Herkimer, New York died April 24, 1940 in Nez Perce, Lewis County, Idaho.  He married Marguerite Augusta Mears born March 19, 1869 in Richmond, Elgin, Ontario and died October 3, 1896 in Rhinelander, Oneida, Wisconsin.
They had Martha Mary Kathan born December 2, 1887.

They had Marguerite Lydia Maddess born December 25, 1907.
