About the Header

My blog header is a picture of Kuhio Park Terrace, where my early childhood in Kalihi, Honolulu, Hawaii began. I am the one standing next to my father and my brother, Jamison, is the one goofing off. It was and still is one of the roughest housing projects on Oahu. It is part of who I am and where I am from.
